The FRESH Vlog – Ep 001
As mentioned in my blog earlier this week, you may know the challenges of Getting Started Again with a fitness program. This challenge is difficult, there are so many questions to answer and it takes time to figure out exactly what you need!
How do you start? What do you need? Do you work out at the gym? Go to a small studio and get into classes? Or workout at home? Dang… that’s too many questions! Do you really have time to consider getting started again?
All I can say is, these are legitimate questions and also legitimate concerns. I’m in the same boat as you are. However, I’m excited because so much opportunity awaits us in Getting Started Again!
So How Do You Start?
Let’s do a quick recap because I believe repetition is key… and perhaps you didn’t see my prior post (don’t worry, I’m not mad – let’s do this thing together).
1) First, move to act! No it may not be perfect, you may mess it all up and yes embarrassing things do happen at the gym. Not moving forward to leave you where you are now, right? Either continue to analyze and paralyze yourself or get up in there and get moving.
2) Next, grab an accountability partner and grab one fast! If you can’t find one, shoot me a message on Instagram and I’ll be your accountability partner.
3) Also, Create/Find a system and stick to it! You have many systems available and most are offered for free or at great value. Many programs are 6-10 weeks and within those weeks, you can see great changes. Want to learn how to find the right program for you? Send me a message at ryan@ryanesanders.com and I’ll send you my Free PDF on Getting Started Again where I’ll cover everything you need to get started!
4) Focus on adding rather than on taking away because it’s important to keep your attention on actions that add to your overall well being vs. actions that require taking away.
5) Finally, Strive For Results, Rest in Progress
Recap To Getting Started Again
If you missed my blog earlier this week, here’s the link to go review. Within that post, I go deeper on each of these five areas. Leave a comment and share what challenges you face on Getting Started Again!
